Scholastic Aptitude Test was basically used by many colleges in US & Canada as one of the criteria for giving admissions. Now some deemed to be universities or well-known Institutions having foreign collaboration also give admissions based on this. Eligibility criteria for B.Tech in mechanical engineering is that a student have must passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics (PCM) and also need to qualify the state level entrance for JEE Mains/WBJEE.

JEE Mains rank predictor is an online tool which predicts the candidates rank range and probable colleges based on the difficulty level of the examination, average marks scored in JEE Main and seats available in IITs, NITs, GFTIs, and other SFTIs.
