Dear, every branch has good scope, but it depends on candidate. As we all know that mechanical engineering is the evergreen branch and after completing this course from top colleges, you will definitely get good jobs in future. Also, there are many more branches in demand like electrical engineering, CSE, civil engineering. So, it will depend on you & your own interest. Every branch has their importance so choose that field, in which you have like the most, so that you don't face any problem at the time appearing.

Hello YS,
Both these branches, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering are based on the concepts of physics only. Mechanical deals with kinetics, thermodynamics, etc. while electrical deals with AC current and its applications.
So, you really need to know the basics very well and have good solving skills with conceptual clarity.

Maths is the father and Drawing is tge mother in case of Mechanical Engineering.
Mechanical Engineering is a vast field having so many branches and opportunities. One thing I want to say that you just need an positive attitude to study.
The major subject you should know is Maths, it doesn't require a high expertise in Maths, but you should have solid foundation in Maths.
There are many options in Mechanical Engineering that will clme ahead of you like Production Planning, Automobile, Power Plants, Automation, Refrigeration Industry, analytical designer.
