In West Bengal, only government colleges are the best choices for mechanical engineering, others are decreasing there level every day, you can choose Heritage Institute or Megnath Saha instead of Techno India.

If you have a strong grip in your subject i.e. mechanical engineering, you should go for GATE exam. If you have interest in research, you should go abroad for MS.

University of Sydney, University of Melbourne, Monash University and RMIT University are some of the best options to pursue mechanical engineering.

As per better education in mechanical engineering, Germany is the best, but as per PR, Canada is the best place for everyone.

Both engineering branches are good, but automobile engineering has good scope as compared to mechanical engineering.

You should opt for Germany as education cost is cheaper in Germany as compared to Canada. You have more job opportunities there particular for mechanical engineering. You need to learn the German language for that. Though Canada is good for Masters but it's more costly as compared to Germany. Canada is preferred for CSE.

Both the branches have great prospects in Karnataka, and in India too.
