They implement the policies and procedures that are formulated by the administration. The managers are responsible for smooth functioning of the hospital where they run the entire show. They manage the entire operations of the hospital and they have a direct contact with the patient. Whereas the hospital administrators are owners & decision makers managing the entire human resource of the hospital with no patient contact. They take care of the legal and government policies. The administrators are the planners, setting the policies and goals for the hospital where the managers are the executers of the action planned. The administrators focus more on the growth of the hospital which can be achieved through the managers. In India both of them scope is good. Thank you.
