All the programmes of study offered by the Directorate of Distance Education of Annamalai University have the approval of the Distance Education Council, New Delhi. The Directorate is introducing B.Ed programme through distance education mode from the year 2008-09 with the approval of National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi.
Regarding MCI, no information is mentioned.

From my personal point of view, I would suggest you not to take a drop and take the admission this year itself. From my experience only 1 out of 10 students scores higher in second attempt. So, there are very less chances. Plus, why to waste 1 whole year. So it is better to begin your new journey of graduation. So, if you still have doubts then feel free to ask again.
