Medical technologists, also known as clinical laboratory technologists, perform and analyze the results of complex scientific tests on blood and bodily fluids. These highly trained professionals work in hospitals and independent laboratories using sophisticated procedures and equipment. When test results are analyzed and completed, medical technologists collaborate with physicians or laboratory directors on patient data. A Bachelor's degree in medical technology or Science is required for entry-level positions. CAREER PROSPECTS AND JOB OPPORTUNITIES:
Depending upon ones training and qualification, medical technologists may work in medical laboratories. One may start off by working as technician. 1. If you only like either Physics, Chemistry and Maths as a subject, engineering might not be good for you as every specialisation in engineering combined either of two subjects P, C or M. So, if you like only one subject out of P, C, and M look at options to do core science related courses in these individual subjects like:
If you like only Physics, you have career options like Astrophysics, Geophysics, Molecular Physics, Nuclear Physics, and Optical Physics.
If you like only Chemistry, you have career options like Biochemistry, Nuclear Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, etc.
If you like only Maths, you have career options like Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Geometric Analyst, and Computational Mathematics.
So, the key thing is to see that if you are passionate about only 1 subject or 2 subjects out of P,C and M.also look at careers in Legal Studies, Design (product Design, UI Design etc.), Media & Communication etc.
