Eligibility for Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery:
As a minimum criterion of eligibility, aspiring candidates need to have completed 10+2 or equivalent qualification with physics, chemistry, biology and ideally Sanskrit as main subjects.
Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery: Admission Process:
Process of admission to the course may vary across institutes. Some institutes conduct their own entrance exams for selecting and admitting candidates, while some select students on the basis of their score at the 10+2 level alone, compulsorily completed with physics, chemistry and biology as main subjects.

Eligibility and admission criteria:
The basic requirement for the eligibility to get the admission to BAMS programme is qualifying the 10+2 examination with good score. The selection of the candidate is based on the final merit as the sum of the total numbers obtained in the qualifying examination as 12th and the number scored in the entrance examinations.

I am sure you must have had PCM as your subjects in 12th. If you and if you are interested in mathematics field I can suggest you to go for B.Sc maths honors and if you can then college like Indian statistical Institute(ISI) is very good and Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI), Chennai. If you are able to get in one. It has its own entrance examinations. You may search for other colleges too which give you a good scope in mathematics.
You can also opt for a BS degree in math, which is a 4 year course. At present the two best places in India for a BS degree are the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.
After the B.Sc/BMath/BS degrees a student has the opportunity to get an M.Sc or an MS degree from the many places in India and abroad. They can also apply for an Integrated M.Sc-PhD degree offered at some places in India.
