Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. in Radiography) is a 3- year long course, divided into 6 semesters, with each semester lasting 6 months. Radiography is a medical sub field, dealing in the diagnosis of diseases and ailments related to the internal or hidden parts of the body, with the use of X-Rays.
Fresh graduates of B.Sc. in Radiography may earn anywhere between INR 7,000 to 10,000 monthly, with the salary increasing with increase in experience and skillsets. Such graduates are hired in capacities such as Diagnostic Radiographer, X-Ray Technician, Radiation Protection Specialist, among others.
The course is offered at leading institutes across major cities and States throughout the country, with the admission and selection being based on a relevant entrance examination and performance in the qualifying exam I.e. 10+2.

Eligibility criteria: 10+2 Science stream cleared with PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) subjects from a recognized board is the minimum qualification set by majority of institutes offering this course. Note: In case of some institutes, 10+2 passed with Science stream subjects will also suffice. Minimum aggregate mark criteria, if present, are generally around 50% aggregate marks in Science subjects.
Admission process: Depends on the institute. It could be merit based admission process or direct admission process. If merit based admission process is followed in an institute, marks scored by a candidate in board exam and/or relevant entrance test will be taken into consideration. Some reputed institutes are also known to conduct their own private screening/entrance test and interview.
