Hi Sanket,
The minimum eligibility criteria for application to the course would be either of the following:
A postgraduate or graduate in Bioscience/Life Sciences (with any of the following subjects: Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Biotech) with at least 50% marks in aggregate
A postgraduate or graduate with Chemistry as a subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate
A postgraduate or graduate in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences
A postgraduate or graduate in Medicine
A graduate or equivalent degree/diploma in Nursing

Diverse job opportunities are available in front of Diploma in Pharmacy certificate holders. Government and private sector job opportunities are available in front of them. Starting salary depends on factors like the profile of the employer, job location and job profile. Sorry dear but your chances for getting admission in a govt. college is impossible. You might get a private college but you have to pay large amount of donation. Better try next year.

Hi Preeti,
Admission in MBBS/BDS courses is provided through entrance test namely NEET-UG. It is the mandatory examination that one has to appear for admission to undergraduate medical/dental courses. The candidates will be able to take admission on the basis of score in the entrance test. Seat allotment will be done through counselling process.
Further, as per the Counselling Conducting Authority: Selection Committee Directorate of MBBS Education, Government of Tamil Nadu for 85% state quota seats
Counselling Conducting Authority: MBBS Counselling Committee (MCC) for 15% All India Quota seats

Hi Preeti,
There are no black and white answers to this question. It depends on the individual, the quality of the medical college he went to, his enthusiasm and interest in the subject and his subsequent engagement in class and college.
One thing does stand out - medicine is going to get hyper-competitive going forward. There are many AIIMS being set up in India and many medical colleges are being upgraded. This would result in an intellectual arms race where only the most diligent would get placements in cities and top centres. More and more niches would open up going forward.
