One should keep in mind about the future prospectus of the course when he/she will complete after 3 or 4 or 5 years. If you look for the demand wise MBBS & B.Pharm. There are about 6-6.5 lakh doctors available, but India would need about four lakh more by 2020 to maintain the required ratio of one doctor. The UN/WHO describe the ideal doctor-population ratio as 1:1000. There is only one doctor per 1,700 citizens in India. Looking to gap. There is always a better prospectus for MBBS.
