With permission from the Ministry of Education, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has been administering the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) on behalf of the Ministry of Ayush from 2019. The NCISM Act, 2020 (No. 14 of 2020) established the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine as a statutory entity through a September 21, 2020, Gazette notification extraordinary Part (ii) Section 1. The National Commission for Homoeopathy Act, 2020 (No. 15 of 2020), an act of parliament, established the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH), and it was published in the Gazette on July 5, 2021, marking the day of its effective implementation. NTA will administer AIAPGET-2024 via computer-based testing (CBT).

The syllabus for the Class 11 and Class 12 CBSE Board exams is the same as the AIIMS paramedical syllabus. It is not difficult for pupils to appear for the exam if they have prepared sufficiently. The exam's degree of difficulty is contingent upon the nature of the questions, most of which are application-based rather than direct. The All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) in Delhi, which administers the AIIMS B.Sc. Nursing programme exams, determines the AIIMS paramedical syllabus. The internship has been extended until July 31, 2024, per the most recent changes. The AIAPGET 2024 internship application deadline was previously June 30, 2024. On April 16, 2024, NTA opened registration for AIAPGET 2024. In 2024, candidates had to register online in order to submit the AIAPGET application. AIAPGET 2024 registration was open till May 15, 2024. On May 17, 2024, NTA began the AIAPGET 2024 application correction window. 

For general and OBC candidates, the AIIMS Paramedical Registration cost is INR 1500; for SC and ST candidates, it is INR 1200. The application fee is waived for individuals with disabilities. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi has been assigned the task of holding the AIIMS paramedical examination for qualified candidates. The final registration for AIIMS Paramedical 2024 will open in May of that year. To move on to the final registration step, which entails selecting the exam location and paying the AIIMS Paramedical Application Fee, candidates must finish the basic registration. In addition to having passed class 12 from any recognised board with physics, chemistry, and biology, candidates planning to appear for the BSc Nursing entrance test should also have a comprehensive understanding of general knowledge pertaining to history, current affairs, general policy, and scientific research.
