There is an entrance exam conducted by SRM through which you will get admission in MPT courses. Minimum 55% aggregate of marks or a CGPA of 5.5 in qualifying examination is required. The candidates must have also passed the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) Degree or equivalent (4 years + 6 months of compulsory internship on or before 31st May of that academic year) from a UGC recognised University in India (on campus full time program).

Admission is done through National level entrance examination conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) or authorized /statutory boards or agencies. Students seeking admission to the BPT programme must fulfill the entry requirement of securing a minimum of 50% in their 12th-grade examinations.

To eligible for BPT you should have 50% in 12th standard along with that Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany & Zoology with above mentioned marks. Candidates who studied abroad should possess equivalent qualification as determined by Association of Indian Universities with above mentioned marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Botany & Zoology are eligible.
