Saveetha Dental College, Chennai NEET MDS Cutoff was released for Round 1. The Cutoff was released in the form of Opening and Closing ranks for different categories under the AI quota. The Cutoff ranks for the General AI category candidates ranged between 1282 and 15612. The most competitive course to get into was MDS in Prosthodontics; while the easiest course was MDS in Oral Medicine and Radiology.

Therefore, General AI category candidates with the Cutoff ranks can get into GDC RIMS with a Cutoff rank of 8000, as the Cutoff closed at 15612.

MD can be pursued after a BAMS course. full form of BAMS in medical terminology is Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery. It is an undergraduate course of 5.5 years in India. Doctor of Medicine is a postgraduate course and requires a Bachelors in medicine or related fields.

Candidates who complete BAMS course can certainly open a hospital however, compliance with various laws and rules set up or framed by various authorities, securing necessary licenses, adequate infrastructure and facilities, sufficient funding, and competent medical and administrative staff is required.
