NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST [ NEET (UG) – 2024] will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday, 05 May 2024 (Sunday) in Pen and Paper mode in 13 languages, as a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test [(NEET (UG)] for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical.As per the recommendations of the High Powered Committee, NTA decided to reconduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) [NEET (UG)] – 2024 on 23 June 2024 for 1563 candidates who had experienced time loss during the originally scheduled examination on 05 May 2024 and were awarded compensatory.Both the NEET UG and NEET PG exams are competitive, as they are the only entrance exams for UG and PG medical programs in India. The NEET PG is considered to be slightly more difficult, as it cover wider range of subjects and the number of seats offered for PG are less as compared to UG courses.

There are two types of NEET counselling: state counselling and central, or national counselling. The Medical Counselling Committee, or MCC, is in charge of NEET central counselling. The MCC administers the NEET counselling procedure for admission to the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. Conversely, for the 85% of state quota seats, NEET state counselling is carried out by State Authorities or the Education Department of individual states. The NEET counselling for MBBS, BDS, and B.Sc. Nursing programmes is handled by MCC. The State Counselling Authorities, on the other hand, handle admissions for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, and other related or medical degrees.

The medical examination of Indian Coast Guard Yantrik is conducted by the authorised Military Doctors as per medical standard prescribed under current regulations applicable to the EP of Indian Coast Guard on entry. Physical traits include minimum height of 157 cm with proportionate body weight, depending on the age and height of the candidate. Candidate should possess good mental and physical health, should be free from any disease/ disability and have no cardio-vascular disease, surgical deformities like Knock-Knees, Flat-Foot. Candidate should not have a past history of fits or psychiatric ailments, Varicose-veins etc. He should not have any type of infection in the ears. Candidates are advised to get their ears cleaned for wax and tartar removed from teeth before appearing for the written test, which is followed by PFT and Medical examination. Candidate should possess Colour perception standard of CP II and Eyes Visual standards should meet the under mentioned prescribed standards for both the conditions that is with glasses and without glasses.
