Aspirants are required to first register for the BAMS course at HPU followed by selection rounds. Below is step-wise HPU admission process for BAMS:

STEP 1: Application Process

Candidates are first required to fill NEET application form. After NEET, aspirants need to fill out the online application form of HPU. The application fee is INR 2,000 for General and other categories (INR 1,000 for SC/ ST). 

STEP 2: Selection

Himachal Pradesh University selects candidates for BAMS based on NEET score. The university releases a provision category-wise merit list based on NEET score of the candidates.

There are a total of 275 seats in BAMS programme offered by HPU-affiliated colleges. Out of the total intake, 85% seats are reserved for State Quota while 15% are for All India Quota. Below is HPU intake for BAMS:

The latest cutoff information for MD in Transfusion Medicine at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology is unavailable in the search results. A source stated that because the NEET question paper was of moderate difficulty, the NEET cutoff for Tamil Nadu in 2022 for admission to 85% state quota seats and private BAMS/BHMS/ BUMS /BNYS/ BSMS colleges was predicted to reduce by 25 to 35 marks for the majority of the reserve categories. SCTIMST, Trivandrum accepts the entrance exam scores for MD in Transfusion Medicine. To be admitted to the program, candidates must take the INI-SS entrance exam and get the required minimum score. A written theory entrance exam, a departmental clinical/practical and viva voce, and a final interview are also included in the selection process, with marks allocated for each of these components.
