Mumbai's deemed medical colleges hike fees up to Rs25 lakh per year. The cost of an MBBS degree from Dr D Y Patil Medical College in Navi Mumbai, a deemed institute, has topped a crore, the highest in the state. The annual fees have touched Rs. 25 lakh this year.

For each round of counselling, the number of candidates will be eight times the number of seats available. JIPMER will conduct the counselling process for 150 seats available at JIPMER Puducherry and50 seats available at Karaikal campus. The result of the JIPMER MBBS entrance exam will be released on June 10.

For your candidate, it is advised to aim for more than 160 marks in JIPMER MBBS Entrance Exam. For OBC candidate, more than 153marks should get admission. SC candidates must focus on getting more than 142marks, and ST candidates must try to get more than 123 marks.

Do not have much information about the scores required but ranks are as below:
University College of Medical Sciences Delhi Cut-off for NEET 2017 for Round 1 for OBC category was 193 as opening rank and 261 as closing rank.
For Round 2, it was 270 as opening & 341 as closing rank.

There will be 10 questions from English Language and Comprehension and Logical & Quantitative Reasoning. This year, the JIPMER is offering a total of 200 seats. The Puducherry branch of the institute will be in the lead again with 150 seats to offers for MBBS course and JIPMER Karaikal will offer 50 seats this year.
