Yes, if your state of domicile is Maharashtra, then you are eligible for MHCET. As per my knowledge you are eligible for the state quota seat only for the state of which you have the domicile that is the state from where you have completed your 10 and 12 exam, not the domicile you hold by Birth. Below are the eligibility criteria:

  1. The candidate should have passed their 10 and 12 from the state of Maharashtra.
  2. The candidate should have a domicile certificate from the State of Maharashtra (should have lived there for a period of 10 years), or a birth certificate mentioning the place of birth in Maharashtra.

With a 78 percentile in MAH BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies), you have a good chance of getting a seat in Mumbai, but it can depend on various factors such as the number of seats, competition, and specific college cutoffs.

Greetings!

Based on my recommendation, some Computer Engineering/It colleges in Mumbai with 57.8 percentile in MH-CET are listed below:

  1. Lower-Ranked Government Colleges: Some government colleges might consider your percentile, but it depends on the cutoff for that year.
  2. Private Engineering Colleges: Explore private colleges that accept MH-CET scores. While top colleges like COEP Pune and VJTI Mumbai may be out of reach, there are other institutions where you can apply.

With a 73.49 percentile in the MBA CET, you have a decent chance of getting into some good colleges in Nashik or Pune, though it may be challenging to secure a seat in the top-tier institutions. Here are some potential colleges you might consider:

Pune

  1. Pune Institute of Business Management (PIBM)
  2. Indira Institute of Management
  3. Sinhgad Institute of Management
  4. MIT School of Business

Nashik

  1. KBT College of Engineering
  2. Sandip University
  3. MET Institute of Management

The preference for admission between MAT and CET scores varies depending on the requirements of that particular school. Institutions will often take the better score into account when making admissions decisions. If you are applying to a certain college or university, you should examine their admissions policies to determine if they have a preference for either exam. Applying with the higher score could be beneficial if both are accepted. For exact information, always confirm this with the admissions office of the college.
