For MHT-CET, you must meet the eligibility criteria set by the exam authorities. Generally, if you score above 45% in your board exams and fail one subject, you might still be eligible, provided you pass all subjects required for your specific board and meet the overall eligibility criteria. Verify with the latest MHT-CET guidelines or your board for precise requirements and ensure you meet all necessary conditions.

With 45% in MHT CET, you might consider colleges with lower cutoffs or those offering management quota seats. Options could include:

  1. Shivaji University
  2. Vishwakarma Institute of Technology
  3. Marathwada Mitra Mandal's College of Engineering
  4. Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Engineering and Technology

Check each college's specific admission criteria and availability, as they vary. Visit their official websites for detailed cutoff information and application procedures.

It can also be difficult to accept an offer and wait for the best possible outcome through counseling. MIT-WPU is a good college for B.Tech in Computer Science, with adequate facilities and faculty. With a strong position in CET, you can get into a good college with lots of opportunities and prestige. Consider things like faculty, infrastructure, hiring, and your personal interests. If you are interested in MIT-WPU, accepting it now can give you peace of mind. If you think you can do better, it might be worth the wait.

It's quite difficult for you to join in this marks. But it good for private colleges. With 34 percentile in MHT CET, it is highly unlikely that you will secure admission to a government agriculture college in Maharashtra. Admission typically requires a significantly higher percentile, and most government colleges have cutoffs well above this score. Your 84% in Class 12th is commendable, but it may not compensate for the low CET percentile.

It will be easier and good if you look for private colleges and in some cases you may get admission by management quota.
