If you want decent job opportunities, you can go for higher studies such as a master's in Microbiology. After graduating with a BSc In Microbiology, you can pursue the following careers:
- Microbiologist: You can apply for assistant-level positions after completing your B.Sc.
- Teacher: You will have to complete a B.Ed. Degree or an M.Sc. To be eligible for a teaching position.

The college has one of the best labs in India for microbiology. The labs have good equipment.

Marksheets of classes X and XII are required with a minimum percentage of 50% or more. A Bachelors Degree in Microbiology from a recognised university or an equivalent with a minimum mark of 55% or more. For institutes which hold an entrance exam, students must clear the entrance exam and make it to the cut off or merit list.
