An aptitude test is a systematic means of testing a job candidate's abilities to perform specific tasks and react to a range of different situations. The tests each have a standardised method of administration and scoring, with the results quantified and compared with all other test takers. No prior knowledge is assumed, as the tests seek to determine innate ability at a particular competency. These are the most common types of aptitude test that you will encounter:
1-Numerical reasoning tests. These tests require you to answer questions based on statistics, figures and charts.
2-Verbal reasoning tests. A means of assessing your verbal logic and capacity to quickly digest information from passages of text. Intra exercises. A business-related scenario that assesses how well you can prioritise tasks.
3-Diagrammatic tests. Tests that measure your logical reasoning, usually under strict time conditions.
4-Situational judgement tests. Psychological tests that assess your judgement in resolving work-based problems.
5-Inductive reasoning tests. Tests that identify how well a candidate can see the underlying logic in patterns, rather than words or numbers.
6-Cognitive ability tests. A measurement of general intelligence, covering many categories of aptitude test.
7-Mechanical reasoning tests. These assess your ability to apply mechanical or engineering principles to problems; they are often used for technical roles.
8-Watson Glaser tests. Designed to assess a candidate's ability to critically consider arguments; often used by law firms.
9-Abstract reasoning tests. Another name for inductive reasoning tests.
10-Spatial awareness tests. These tests assess your capacity to mentally manipulate images, and are often used in applications for jobs in design, engineering and architecture.

Corporate communications are generally written communications that occur among the different departments of a company or any higher authority. Therefore for being in Public relations one needs to be comfortable in public speaking and promoting brand while corporate needs good written communication skills. Corporate Communications mainly deals with the written and, at times, oral communication that needs to be done in order to keep all the stakeholders informed of a company vision, mission and strategic objectives. It involves internal as well as external communication, depending on who needs to know what. Whereas Public Relations use the external communications prepared by Corporate Communications to generate a positive image of the company. It uses mediums like press releases, social media, public activities, presentations etc. To create public interest in the products/services rendered by a company. Many a time, Public Relations team works closely with Corporate Communications team to identify external audiences (their tears too) and prepare appropriate external communication messages and publication materials. Scope of Public Relations in India PR as an industry though has growth, there is also lack of skilled professionals, which makes the career a pool of opportunities for newcomers who have polished sof skills and experience. There are agencies popping up everywhere, because every organisation, every client who has a public profile needs to be groomed and showcased in a positive manner.

Research is indeed the best hallmark of a good place to learn Mass Media/Communication. Even for other subject's, the quality indeed gets manifested if the university offers quality research. Let me tell you one thing observed during education related counselling, Ph.D. from Government Universities or Central Universities still remain a quality thing because you get guides who are quite qualified on the academic part. There are strong notions that these days the quality has called to the new low all around in research. I shall suggest that you consider JNU, Jamia Milia Islamia, (find out IIMC courses for future) Amity University, Symbiosis Pune etc. It is also to be noted that you can do a Ph.D. from IIT and IIMS as well, because there they offer this through the Social Science department.
