To pursue MBA from IITs, you need to write CAT. For the private colleges, you need to appear for the specified entrance tests (if available) or else they would also accept based on scores in top exams like CAT, MAT, and XAT etc.
So, for private colleges you need to verify the admission procedures carefully.
