Dear Kajal,
As far as I am concerned, I guess you wanted to ask about M.Des from IDC Bombay.
The candidates should have a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST) or equivalent grades in the qualifying examination (as listed below) to become eligible for M.Des.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Architecture Design/Interior Design, or equivalent
• Diploma in Design (NID/CEPT, or equivalent)
• GD Art (5 years programme after 10th) with one year experience
• Master's degree in Arts/ Science/ Computer Applications
• BFA (4 year programme, after 10+2)

You can definitely choose Mumbai, Delhi or any good metro city as compared to Kanpur. You have better options and training opportunities in metro cities.

The cutoff for CMAT last year was around 92 percentile. However, it varies every year depending on how many applications we receive and the overall result itself. As far as seats are concerned, all 360 seats in the PGDM program are open to everyone and are alloted purely on basis of merit. No seats are reserved for mumbai students.
