JEE is a joint entrance test for taking admission in engineering colleges. It is not required for B.Sc IT. There are many colleges in Mumbai which offers B.Sc-IT like Jai Hind college, Mithibai college, R J College of B.Sc-IT etc. You will have to be more specific area wise that means which locality are you looking for.

Dear Megha,
Before searching for an internship, it's better that you decide the field in which you actually want to get in. It is very important to think of a goal rather than moving into every direction and getting nowhere.
You may find an internship into a PR firm easily. All you have to do is look for social media pages on Facebook or google the internship opportunities.

Whether you want to consider this college or no is left to you. All I can say is that the learning experience and curriculum here at SDMIMD is comparable to any of the premium B schools in India. SDMIMD is also about to get an International accreditation soon which will put SDMIMD on the global map. People with good GPA get placed without any glitches, people with poor GPA are obviously not placed. Average package for 2015 was 5.8 LPA and in 2016 it is considerably more than the previous year, the figures will be revealed in the placement report. Hi
Since I have not much idea about KJ somaiya, I can only tell you what you can expect at SRCC GBO.
As a student , you will have some of the best faculty, great exposure and a highly conducive environment along with supportive management which will help you take any initiative and go ahead with it.
The level of grooming is amazing since students are encouraged to take initiative and the onus to complete the tasks also lies on them only :)
So all the best.
