You must use the NCERT for the CBSE Class 12 board exams. The NCERT textbook is enough for understanding the Biomolecules. All concepts, definitions, and reactions asked in the exams are directly covered in the textbook. Foods that contains nucleic acids are animal products such as meat, eggs, fish and few plant-based sources are legumes, spinach, mushrooms, yeast and cereals. Adding these foods in the diet will support the body's nucleic acid pool, which is important for cellular function.

DNA and RNA both are the types of nucleic acids.

  • DNA (Deoxyribonucleic acid) store the genetic  information.

  • RNA (Ribonucleic acid) helps in protein synthesis. It carry and translates the genetic codes.

There are three main processes Isothermal, adiabatic and cyclic process. In isothermal, the system is thermally conductive and the temperature remains constant. In adiabatic process, the system is thermally isolated and there is no change in heat temperature. The system returns to its initial stage in the cyclic process.
