Medical college admission through the state quota in West Bengal proves difficult for NEET 2024 applicants who scored 613 marks and obtained a position of 66,000 due to past cutoff requirements of 620–640 marks for general candidates in top institutions. Reserved category students have potential opportunities for admission in some district medical colleges. You can secure admission at KPC Medical College through management or state quota because the previous year cutoffs at this private medical college were between 580–600 marks.

The IMS BHU MBBS cut-off varies yearly. It further varies depending on the reservation category and admission quota (All-India/Home State) of the applicants. In 2024, the closing NEET UG rank at which MBBS admisson concluded for the General AI category candidates was 1,098. For OBC and SC category students, the NEET UG last round cutoff ranks were 1,585 and 48,082, respectively, within the All India quota. Candidates willing to get an MBBS seat at the institute must aim at securing a rank better than the previous-year cut-off as per their reservation category.

The probability of successfully obtaining admission to Uttar Pradesh government medical colleges for MBBS under state quota after scoring 555 marks in NEET 2024 is quite low for the general category students. During the past academic year general category students needed 580-600 marks to gain admission in government medical colleges throughout Uttar Pradesh. The cutoffs experience annual variations. You maintain a possibility of securing admission at a private medical institution combined with a government medical institution in a lower competitive field.
