Yes, NTA provides NEET mock tests for the exam aspirants. Students have to visit the official website of NTA and click on the Mock Test tab. After that, they have to select the exam from the drop down menu and select the subject between Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Unlike the original exam, NTA provides NEET mock test in computer-based-mode. Moreover, the question paper is also not a combined set of all three subjects, but segregated subject-wise. Hence, it is a good source of NEET mock tests if you are planning to practice or solve subject-wise mock tests.

There is no fixed number of NEET mock test to be taken by candidates to ensure a good score in the exam. The number of mock tests for NEET or the frequency to attempt it should increase gradually. While in the initial phase of NEET preparation, candidates may take one test a week, when the exam is closer, or a couple of months before the exam, candidates should take at least three to four NEET mock tests in a week.

Yes, NEET is needed if you wish to pursue Nephrology.
At first, NEET UG is needed for admission to MBBS and then NEET PG is required for MD in General Medicine or Paediatrics.
After completing MD, candidates must clear NEET-SS (Super Specialty) to secure admission into a DM/DNB Nephrology program. Since nephrology is a highly specialised medical branch, these entrance exams ensure the selection of qualified candidates.

No, whether you have applied Class 12 marks improvement or not, it does not affect your admission to MBBS through NEET. However, you have to make sure that you have good scores in Class 12 examinations. Most colleges might first consider your Class 12 scores to see if you are eligible for admission.
You can get more information on the same on the Shiksha website.
