Hi Greetings,
"With a NEET 2024 score of 384, admission to a government medical college in Maharashtra under the OBC category is unlikely".
"Previous years' data indicates that the minimum NEET scores for OBC candidates in Maharashtra's government medical colleges were significantly higher".
"For instance, in 2022, the cutoff for OBC candidates was around 560 marks'.
'However, you may consider applying to private medical colleges or exploring options in other states where the cutoff scores might be lower.
Additionally, pursuing courses in allied health sciences or considering studying medicine abroad could be viable alternatives'.
Thank

If last year's cutoffs are followed, admissions to AIIMS institutes at 660 marks are tough for the open category students as well as EWS and OBC students. SC/ST candidates can expect admission to IIMS Deogarh, AIIMS Madurai, AIIMS Jammu, and AIIMS Guwahati for the expected rank at 660 marks as stated above. For open, OBC, and EWS categories, multiple government medical colleges through all-India and open seat quotas are available. Students are likely to be allotted seats to top government colleges in each state at this mark range.

Yes, you have a good chance of getting admission with 370 marks in NEET with OBC NCL category. The average cutoff for reserved categories in BAMS ranges generally between 250-300. Although a accurate prediction cannot be made but probability is at the higher side. Getting a private college with this score is easy, but for a government college, you have a 50-50 chance as the average cutoff for government Institute ranges from 350-400.
