Getting admission to the Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital (IMS and SUM) for MBBS with a mere score of 300 marks in NEET would be quite difficult considering the general cut-off marks for admission to medical colleges are usually much higher than that. Of course, the exact cut-off varies depending on the number of applicants and category-wise reservations.
Thus, if you belong to a reserved category (for example, OBC, SC/ST), you would be granted better odds in such an instance. Check out the previous year's trends in cut-offs or directly contact the admission office of IMS and SUM for further details to get accurate informa

Yes, with 545 marks in the NEET exam, you may have a chance to get a government medical seat in India if you are in the OBC category:
- The minimum marks required for the OBC category in the NEET exam for MBBS is 163–129, which is in the 40th percentile.
- A score of 550–500 in the NEET exam may result in a rank of 1,44,000–2,09,000.
You can use a NEET rank predictor tool to estimate your rank and identify medical colleges that are within your reach. The tool considers various factors, including your performance data, historical NEET data, and opening and closing ranks from the previous year's NEET counseling.

Scoring a total of 410 marks in the NEET-2024, it really gets tougher to get through government medical colleges for an MBBS and BDS. In general category students, generally the cut-offs of Government medical colleges start from around 550 marks to 720 marks but for the students who belongs to reserved category, sometimes it is quite low still way above the score one has got here.
Cutoffs in government medical colleges according to the latest updates differ highly between category and institute. The general category candidates cutoff would have usually been around marks over 600 whereas the cutoffs for SC/ST candidates may be from a min

Scoring 110/720 in NEET will make the candidate highly unlikely to be considered for a government BDS college. In general, trends indicate that candidates who are expected to score below or around 450 will most probably be at the periphery of government seat competition.
Again, for the state of Tamil Nadu, cutoffs can be higher than that. The highest government dental colleges need much more scores than that above 110, sometimes in excess of 500 points to secure admission. Consequently, at this score now, you are very unlikely to get admission in any government BDS colleges. Private dental colleges are a possible option or some other c

Yes, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for the NEET (UG) 2024 exam. Initially set to close on March 9, 2024, candidates can now fill out the application form until March 16, 2024, at 11:50 PM. 157 marks is considered a very low score fro NEET, making it difficult to ssecure admission to any college.Even in reserved categories the cut-off is higher then 157. while some private colleges might have lower cut-offs, getting admission with such a low score is highly rare. However, if you belong to reserved category you can get admission only if you are willing to consider lower-ramked private institutions.

Admission possibilities for BDS through scoring 124 marks in NEET 2024
It will be very hard to get admission into a BDS course with only 124 marks in NEET 2024. Generally, all government dental colleges require marks above 300 according to past year cutoff trends.
But you might still have the opportunity for some private dental colleges. Institutions like Rayat Bahra University and such similar colleges usually consider students below a certain score, as long as they have their criteria, such as a category base for reservations, etc., for flexibility in admissions.
It is also better to search for all the possible private dental colleges t
