No, NEET scores are not required for the BSc Nursing course admission through CENTAC counselling. Courses such as BSc Nursing and other paramedical courses are clubbed under the UG Non-NEET category of admission. The admission takes place on the basis of candidates' Class 12 Board exam scores and other admission criteria laid down by CENTAC.

Sadly, you can not appear for NEET 2024 with the said plan, as mentioned. As per the eligibility criteria, one must have passed class 12th with either PCB or PCM with Biology as an additional subject from a recognised board, in the same tenure. Thus, this is not practically possible to appear for NEET 2024 as of now.
Hope that helps!

With 208,893 in NEET, your chances of getting an MBBS seat in top government medical colleges in Punjab are quite slim, given the highly competitive nature of the exam and the high cutoffs for government institutions. But you might have a better chance in private medical colleges or under management quota seats. Some listed below colleges are:-
- Christian Medical College (CMC), Ludhiana
- Dayanand Medical College, Ludhiana
- Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Amritsar
- Gian Sagar Medical College and Hospital, Patiala
- Adesh Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Bathinda

NEET scores are taken into account by Kasturba Medical College (KMC) Manipal when admitting students to its undergraduate MBBS programme, therefore prospective students must fulfil a number of requirements. Candidates must first be eligible to take the CBSE-conducted National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET). Second, they need to get a minimum cumulative NEET of 50%. The annual variation in the minimum score required for admission to KMC Manipal is due to various factors such as the level of difficulty of the exam, the volume of applicants, and the availability of seats.

Yes, you can join JIPMER directly, but the admission process depends on the specific programme you are interested in. For B.Sc Nursing programs, JIPMER considers NEET scores for admission. However, for other medical programs, the admission process may vary, Admission to MBBS and all other UG Courses at JIPMER is based on the score in NEET UG. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with 50% Marks in PCB for admission to UG Courses at JIPMER. Admission to MD, MS and MDS at JIPMER is based on the score in INI CET conducted by AIIMS.
