In general, the total duration of the Assam NEET UG counselling is of three to four months. The total number of counselling rounds is also around three to four. On an average, each round is conducted for a duration of one month. The exact durtion will be updated once the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Assam announces the round-wise schedule of the Assam NEET counselling 2025. The number of rounds may exceed in case vacant seats are left after the last round of counselling. In that case the overall duration or the tenure of the counselling will also extend.

Yes, after the declaration of the Assam NEET counselling seat allotment result, candidates will be given the option to upgrade the seat choice. Based on that, the counselling authorities will upgrade the seats based on the choices entered by candidates, in case the desired seat is vacant after the institute reporting process is concluded, additional round of counselling will be conducted.

You would be eligible to appear for the NEET exam in 2024 if you meet the following criteria:

You have passed your 12th standard examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects. For the General category, you need to have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in your 12th standard exam.

With the marks you mentioned - 77 in Physics, 88 in Chemistry, and 74 in Biology - your aggregate score would be 239 out of 300, which is 79.67%. This meets the 50% minimum requirement for the General category. You must have completed 17 years of age at the time of ad

No, you cannot pursue MBBS in South Korea without taking the NEET exam in India. NEET is a mandatory entrance exam for admission to MBBS programs in India and many other countries. Even if you want to opt for a management quota seat, you still need to take the NEET exam.

Indeed, passing the NEET 2024 exam will provide you with a private MBBS seat. A set number of seats are set aside for management quotas at several private medical schools. NEET scores are used to fill these slots, albeit there may be higher tuition fee.

With 363 marks in NEET 2024, you have a good chance of securing admission to a semi-government medical college. The NEET 2023 closing score for Maharishi Markandeshwar Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Mullana was 320 marks. This suggests that with 363 marks, you may be able to secure a seat in a similar semi-government medical college. The Karnataka NEET 2024 cutoff data shows that for government medical colleges, the cutoff ranges from around 400-600 marks depending on the category. For private/deemed universities, the cutoff is lower, around 350-450 marks.

You should research the cutoffs and seat availability for diffe

Having 430 NEET scores does not guarantee admission to a government medical institution for an MBBS program. A number of things need to be considered, such as your category (General, SC, ST, OBC, etc.), state, and the particular cut-off patterns for that year.Candidates in the reserved categories (SC, ST, and OBC) have lower cutoffs than those in the general category. The deadlines for state quota seats vary from state to state. Candidates with state residences typically have a higher probability of winning a seat in their home state. The All India Quota, which usually has higher cut-offs than state quotas, is allocated 15% of the seat

It could be difficult to get admitted to Government Medical College (GMC), Nagpur, if you are a SC member with a NEET score of 164. Even for protected groups like SC, the NEET cutoff scores are typically higher for medical institutes, including GMC Nagpur. In previous years, GMC Nagpur's SC category cutoff has usually been far higher than 164. For instance, in 2022, the cutoff score for MBBS candidates from the SC category at GMC Nagpur was approximately 450–500 points. Medical college admissions are quite tough. The exam's difficulty level, the amount of open seats, and candidates' overall performance all affect the cutoff score
