Yes. With comparatively low scores in NEET, you can secure a BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery) seat, more so, you are either reserved or planning to apply in private colleges. The 50 th percentile, or the NEET-qualifying marks in the general category are approximately 144 out of 720 (NSE 2025), whereas in the case of the OBC/SC/ST categories, it is 40 th percentile or 113 marks. Though in the government colleges that are pinnacle, higher marks in NEET are needed, but in the private BHMS colleges, not only are the 150+ Neet scores acceptable but sometimes they can even be as low as 150-300.

For BDS admission through NEET in a private college in India, the required marks vary by category but generally a score between 250 and 400 marks for the general category. Other categories can get admission with lower score for example ST SC categories around 150 to 300 marks and OBC categories around 200 to 350 marks.

For B.Sc Nursing, MH B.Sc Nursing CET is typically the GATE (NEET isn't required). For MBBS/MD/MS, NEET is mandatory. Always cross check the current Maharashtra CET Cell brochure—occasionally, overlapping circulars confuse applicants. Keep your medical fitness, domicile, category, and minority certificates handy well before counselling.

Most Pharm.D admissions don't require NEET; they run through state CETs or institute merit lists. Still, a few private universities optionally accept NEET scores: think JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (Mysuru), SRM, Dr. MGR University, Manipal (usually has its own process), PES, Sri Ramachandra Institute. Your best tactic: treat NEET as a plus, not a gatekeeper, and apply via each university's own portal / counselling. Make sure labs, hospital tie-ups, Pharm.D internship year quality, and clinical exposure trump the brand name alone.

You generally cannot directly request a specific NEET exam centre with air conditioning as the allotment is based on availability and the preference you select during the application process.
