No, NEET is not mandatory for admission to B.Sc Nursing in most colleges, as the course primarily follows a merit-based or university-specific entrance exam process. However, some government/private institutions (like AIIMS, JIPMER, or state-run colleges) may require NEET scores for B.Sc Nursing admissions, especially if they offer lateral entry to allied medical fields.

The NEET application form is released by NTA on its official website. For 2025, it is expected around February. The application requires uploading your photograph, signature, and Class 10 certificate, along with a fee payment of approximately one thousand seven hundred rupees for general candidates. You must also select exam centres and verify all details carefully, as correction windows are limited.

Yes. With comparatively low scores in NEET, you can secure a BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery) seat, more so, you are either reserved or planning to apply in private colleges. The 50 th percentile, or the NEET-qualifying marks in the general category are approximately 144 out of 720 (NSE 2025), whereas in the case of the OBC/SC/ST categories, it is 40 th percentile or 113 marks. Though in the government colleges that are pinnacle, higher marks in NEET are needed, but in the private BHMS colleges, not only are the 150+ Neet scores acceptable but sometimes they can even be as low as 150-300.
