NEET

Although NEET forms the major entrance examination in most of the Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) admissions in India, including those offered under the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) All India Quota some veterinary courses can be pursued without NEET or state CETs. Admission into some of the private colleges /universities is through their own entrance examinations or on a direct basis on the basis of marks scored in the 12th examination with a heavy bias on studying Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Moreover NEET is usually not required in Diploma courses in Veterinary Science or Animal Husbandry. But there are fewer alternatives that do not involve NEET and competition may remain intense.

In a span of one month one would have to be very disciplined and strategic when it comes to preparing NEET. Sharply concentrate on such chapters in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, mostly NCERT text books, where most of the questions are based. Study 10-12 hours a day, and set priorities leaving time to revise and practise in the form of many mock tests. Examine your mock tests thoroughly in a bid to locate weak areas and work towards correcting them. Do not create new topics, stick to what is already known, drilling formulas, etc. and every time work on the annual past year papers under timed conditions to increase the accuracy and faster solving. Have caring priorities over your body and mind to be focused.
