Yes, NEET is obligatory for Indian students who want to practice in India after returning from foreign MBBS. If students don't qualify from NEET, they cannot register with the Medical Council of India (NMC).

NEET is not required for admission into foreign medical schools themselves. This would include medical schools in the USA or UK, where the requirements are high school grades, taking exams such as the MCAT (for USA), or UK college specific admission criteria.

This is an important distinction to make and provides assurance to students that they will be eligible to practice in India after extending their degree duration abroad.

No, NEET is not mandatory for BSc Physiotherapy. Admission is usually through CUET, state-level exams, or Class 12 merit-based processes, depending on the college. NEET is primarily for MBBS, allied health programs and BDS.

However, some colleges may prefer their own entrance tests, so it's always wise to confirm the admission criteria with the specific institute before applying.

No, NEET is not compulsory for admission to the Bachelor of Optometry course. Admission is usually based on Class 12 marks in Science subjects or entrance exams like CUET.

However, some universities conduct their own tests to assess eligibility. Unlike MBBS or Bachelor0 optometry falls under Paramedical and allied health sciences, so NEET is not a requirement.
