UGC NET LS Exam Certificate is valid for lifetime. So, you don't need to requalify NET exam.

Either go for government exams that will be better. Otherwise, you are going for corporates as well with some such renowned companies or else want to go for lecturer then also that will be good option for that you need to give JRF etc. exams.

National Testing Agency conducts the UGC NET Exam for those who are interested in lectureship and fellowship. Officials has prescribed some essential requirement to appear in UGC NET Exam. A candidate must have secured minimum 55% aggregate marks in his post-graduation to become eligible for NET Exam. Hi,
You can apply for UGC NET Exam in the subject, that you have studied in your post-graduation. As you said that you have completed your Masters with History subject, then you can take your exam in History subject. Along with this, you should have minimum marks 55% (Gen) or 50% (ST /SC/PWD/OBC/Transgenders) in your post-graduation.
Before to apply, you should check all the details regarding this exam. So, prepare well with the good study material.

As you said that you have done your PG in geography, therefore, you are able to give your UGC NET exam in Geography subject. For applying in the UGC NET Geography exam you must have Post-graduation in Geography, Applied Geography, Geo-Informatics or any other related subjects with 55% aggregate ( for General Category and 50% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Transgenders).

Hi, To clear the UGC NET exam, you should make a right study plan and follow accordingly. UGC NET exam requires much more attention so you have to prepare seriously for it. Follow some steps shown below:
1. Check out the full syllabus and mark the important points as well as points in which you are weak so you can pay more attention to those.
2. Understand the exam pattern and check the topics which have more weightage in the examination.
