Understand the CSIR NET Exam Pattern and set your targeted score to bag up the exam qualification. Plan a study schedule to manage your time effectively during the exampreparation. Spend at least 5 hours on your studies daily and allow 1 hour extra for revision. Study important topics first. Hello Christ, Yes, you can apply for the UGC NET exam. According to the UGC NET exam guidelines, candidates can apply for the exam in the subject which they have in Masters or related to that. UGC NET exam is conducted in the approximately 90 subjects. Nursing is related to the Social Medicine & Community Health subject which is one of the UGC NET subject. So, you can apply for the UGC NET Social Medicine & Community Health. But you should have minimum 55% aggregate marks in M.Sc. To become eligible for the NET exam. The UGC NET Exam is the National Eligibility test conducted every year in the month of June and Dec for the recruitment of lecturers in Colleges and Universities of India and for the Research work. The UGC NET-https://www.eduncle.com/cbse-ugc-net-exam Exam is one of the best career options for those are from the Commerce, arts and humanities fields. If you have completed post-graduation with at least 55% marks, you can apply for the exam. There is no age limit to appear in the National Eligibility test. There are more than 80 subjects in the UGC NET Exam.

The UGC NET Exam was earlier held by CBSE while NTA will be the conducting agency from December 2018. The NTA has decided to organize UCG NET Exam in completely online mode twice a year. The upcoming UGC NET Exam is scheduled as follows:
UGC NET Application form: 1 to 30 September 2018
UGC NET Admit card: 19 October 2018
UGC NET Exam Date: 18 to 22 December 2018
UGC NET Results: 10 January 2018

Hello Poonam, According to NET exam guidelines, candidates who have qualified the post-graduation or are in the qualifying year of Masters can appear for the UGC NET exam. As you are in the first year of M.Com. , you can take exam in July 2019. But remember that you have to score minimum 55% aggregate marks in Masters' to be a researcher or lecturer through the UGC NET exam.
