Yes, the NIFT entrance exam is mandatory for the admission process. The applicants will be shortlisted for further proceeding of admission based on marks secured in the NIFT Exam i.e., GAT. Students seeking admission in BFTech should only appear for GAT. NIFT examination is a computer-based test which has a duration of 120 minutes, with language preference between English/Hindi. The students who are interested in participating in the spot round can be applied online. The NIFT shortlists the eligible students based on their entrance exam scores. The shortlisted students can choose the course that they are interested in. The seats are allotted based on a first-come, first-serve basis.
