Candidates are advised to check the NIMCET admit card carefully for any mistakes. In case of wrong information in the NIMCET admit card, the candidates will have to immediately contact the NIMCET secretariat or contact the NIMCET Helpdesk. All corrections have to be done before the examination, so that the candidates do not face any problems at the centre.

There is no mandate related to the colour scheme of the NIMCET admit card. Candidates can take either black and white or coloured print outs of the admit card. It is mentioned in the NIMCET information brochure that candidates need to print the Admit Card on precision printers only, like Laser Printers (and not on inkjet printers). It is recommended for the candidates to preserve their admit card that was used during the examination until the entire process of admission is complete.

No, there is no step marking in NIMCET. Each correctly answered question will be awarded full marks and each wrongly answered question will lead to 25% negative mark. The candidates are advised not to attempt such questions if they are not sure of the correct answer. No deduction from the total score will, however, be made if a question is unanswered. More than one answer indicated against a question will be negatively marked. The candidates have to mark the responses as per the instructions appearing in the screen of NIMCET online examination.
