No, calculator or any other electronic equipment such as mobile phones, pagers, etc. will not be allowed to carry to the NIMCET exam centre. Candidates need to report at the examination hall in the allotted test center with admit card before one hour as NIMCET is an online examination, the candidates are required to follow the instructions given at the test center for entry and allotment of terminal.

No, there is no step marking in NIMCET. Each correctly answered question will be awarded full marks and each wrongly answered question will lead to 25% negative mark. The candidates are advised not to attempt such questions if they are not sure of the correct answer. No deduction from the total score will, however, be made if a question is unanswered. More than one answer indicated against a question will be negatively marked. The candidates have to mark the responses as per the instructions appearing in the screen of NIMCET online examination.

Generally, a candidate should start preparing at least six months before the exam date. The NIMCET 2025 exam date has not been announced yet. The authorities will release the NIMCET exam pattern along with the brochure on the official website at nimcet.admissions.nic.in. With the help of an exam pattern, candidates will be able to check the details on which the NIMCET paper is structured, as well as the marking scheme.

Candidates will have to visit the official NIMCET official portal and visit the tab 'Student Login'. There, they have to click 'Forgot Password' which will enable them to generate a new password.

The exact date of the NIMCET question paper release has not been announced yet; the authorities will release the question paper after the admission process of a particular session is over.

The counselling dates for NIMCET 2024 were announced by the authority on the official website. Counselling is conducted from June 29 to July 5, 2024. The choices of candidates applying for counselling will be automatically locked by the server of NIMCET-2024 on July 7, 2024 (5 PM). Candidates who will be allotted seats have to login and pay the token fee online to confirm admission. An application fee of INR 1000 will be charged as counselling fee.
