Learners admitted to Senior Secondary Course must ensure that for the purpose of obtaining a certificate at the Senior Secondary level, a two-year gap is essential from the year of passing the Secondary examination. If you do not have the requisite gap of two years, you can appear in a maximum of four subjects only in the forthcoming April-May examination and subsequent October-November Examination. You will be eligible to appear in the remaining subjects only on completion of the two years gap. In the absence of the two years gap, your examination fee will be adjusted for the first four opted subjects and the remaining fee, if paid for other subjects, will be forfeited.

Yes, you can apply for a BUMS course if you have dual enrollment in 12th Science from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) board, as long as you meet the eligibility criteria for the course: 

• You must qualify for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) and obtain a minimum of 50th percentile in the exam.

Government of India students who have completed high school (class 12) from NIOS can apply for an undergraduate course at DU, provided they meet the required criteria for the specific course in which they are interested.

Academic Requirements: NIOS students must meet the minimum percentage or cut off mark set by DU for the chosen course.

Combination of subjects: Ensure that the subjects required for the course are included in the BSc or B.Com must be combined with specific subjects.

Admission process: From 2022 onwards, admission into DU will be based primarily on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). NIOS students will be required to register for CUET and sit for the entrance test. Their CUET score will determine eligibility and admission.
