The Secondary and Senior Secondary certifications from NIOS are recognised equally with credentials from other boards. Approved by the Government of India on September 14, 1990, NIOS is authorised to hold public examinations at the secondary and senior secondary levels. Provided that they fulfil all other requirements for admission, NIOS learners are qualified to apply for admission to any university or professional college. Every board—federal, state, and even NIOS—adheres to the National Curriculum Framework (2005). Because of this, the secondary and senior secondary certifications offered by the NIOS are comparable to those certificates offered by the other boards.

National Institute of open schooling is a good choice for pursuing any course as it offers various programs such as secondary course, senior secondary course in stream 1 and senior secondary course in stream 2 and 3., secondary under stream 2, secondary under stream 4. NIOS has different fees for practical course and theoritical course. Students can visit the official website of NIOS and register themselves and then students must select the options very carefully and click on proceed. The examination for block 1 will be in april and for block 2 will be in October 2025. The passing marks required in the NIOS 12th exam is minimum of 33% aggregate in prospective field. 

Creating a study timetable makes it easier to cover all the material and the key points. Students must prioritise their topics by analysing the marking scheme. Students might improve their chances of finishing the NIOS 10th question paper on time by solving prior year's question papers. As you study figures, formulas, and key ideas, take notes. Tutor-Marked Assignments (TMA) are worth 20% of your final test score, and completing them will help you pass with a higher grade. Attend PCP (Personal Contact Programme) classes to get your questions answered. To get their questions answered, students can come to these classes.
