NIOS has divided the subjects for class 12 into six groups namely Group A, B, C, D, E and F. Group A consists language subjects while other groups include subjects from Science, Commerce, Humanities and others. Each student has to select a minimum 5 subjects in total while applying for NIOS admission 2023. It is mandatory to choose one language subject from group A and other subjects can be chosen from any group. At the Senior Secondary level, the subjects are divided into Group A and Group B, Group C, Group D, Group E and Group F.

The subjects for class 12 have been split up into six groups by NIOS: Group A, B, C, D, E, and F. Subjects in language make up Group A. Subjects from the humanities, sciences, and commerce are among the other groups. When submitting an application for NIOS admission in 2023, each student must choose a minimum of five subjects overall. Next, choose the NIOS Senior Secondary Syllabus option. The screen will flip to the next page. Select the appropriate NIOS 12th syllabus link based on the subject. NIOS will be releasing the NIOS 2023 Class 12 result in the month of January 2024 in their official website.
The NIOS Class 10 and Class 12 result 2023 April session was out on June 25 and June 23, 2023 . The NIOS 12th theory exams 2023 session 1 were conducted from April 6 to May 8, 2023. The NIOS board had released the result of the learners of October 2022 examination which were kept withhold on March 1 and March 2, 2023 for Secondary and Senior Secondary courses and uploaded on NIOS portal.

Yes, you can give exams through NIOS even if you fail in the improvement exam of class 12th.
But I would suggest you to rather reapply in the succeeding year from your school itself than opting for NIOS for improving your overall percentile. NIOS has a bad image and might provide hurdles in future even though it is a recognised board some less aware people often ask questions and may refuse to give admission in some colleges which should not be the case because, in the end, it is a recognised board of education.
