Your percentile is really good and you're eligible to get admission in most of the NIT's and also top NIT's like NIT Trichy or Warangal but not with CSE branch but you can get the mechanical etc. So here are the list of some NIT's which you can get:
1. NIT Rourkela
2. NIT Calicut
3. NIT Raipur
4. NIT Patna
5. NIT Jalandhar
6. NIT Jamshedpur
7. NIT Uttarakhand
8. NIT Durgapur, etc. According to your percentile your rank might be around 20- 30k. So you can also go to official JOSSA counseling opening and closing rank website where you can check for the NIT you're eligible for.

You can not evaluate new colleges, as it won't have placement records, no alumni network. You can go by seeing the curriculum, ask the current students doubts. It's better to choose a good college, with good network of alumni than to going for a new college.

Yes, there is a reservation for Scheduled Castes (SC) in NITs and other government colleges in India. As per the reservation policy of the Government of India, 15% of the total seats are reserved for SC candidates in central government-funded institutions like NITs. Regarding the procedure for JEE Main it is conducted by the National Testing Agency NTA and is the first stage of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
