NIT Trichy fee structure for B.Tech is INR 1,50,000 per annum. The total fees for B.Tech at NIT Bombay including various components is Rs 104700 (entire course).

Unlike others, I have considered that you didn't write JEE or BITSAT or that you didn't do well. I started my prep about ten days before the exam. I had never performed well in JEE mock tests, so I had never prepared from JEE perspective. I realised at that moment VIT was the best college I could get into and decided to put effort. Full Effort. I bought that Arihant mock test book. I recommend you to solve more of the precise year papers, as the mock tests are really basic. Keep A notebook of formulas handy, and repeatedly revise from that. It is a very good percentile, you easily get many nits with CSE branch. Its very hard to get NIT Rourkela. But, you can go for other. Apply for Jossa counselling to get such options.

I got through dasa admission last year. You cannot get into an IIT but you can get into NIT's, give the SAT subject tests, namely mathematics level 2, Physics and Chemistry then apply through the DASA website as PIO/OCI or foreign citizen. This year's admission has already started, you have to apply next year.

If you belong to SC then in IIITs, you will be exempted to pay the tution fees. But you have to pay the other fees. You need to pay some amount as fees, and it varies in every IIITs.

Yes you can surely drop from your college if you wish but it must not be too late in the course duration. You can continue your present study and attempt JEE to get admission in NIT or IIIT. Also you can continue your present study and prepare for GATE and then move to NIT or IIT for M.Tech.
