You can try for eastern nits or newer NIT. You can even try for GFTI Colleges or newer IIITs. Colleges are given on the basis of rank not on percentile. So, please mention rank instead of percentile.

Hi Gaurav,
With 72.42 percentile in JEE Mains, you can get a seat in NIT Patna at last round or spot round admission. Every year many seats are filled up through spot round at NIT Patna. As your home state is also Bihar, so you will get benefit in that round. Best of luck.

You have to register on JoSAA portal in the first week of June (tentative) then you have to do choice fillup and then preference order. After that, every round's cut-off will come and if your rank comes under any college cut-off then you will get that seat. You can either take that seat or you can skip that seat for a better seat.

No, you can't get any good NITs with this rank. But if you go till the last round, you may get a seat in NIT-Patna or other lower NITs.
Best of luck.
