NIT Jalandhar isn't really a great option since it is not that reputed as compared to the top 30-40 colleges in India. Avoid it and aim for the much better ones.

Your rank is just at critical level. It all now depends on how those placed above give their choices. Yes, you should get a good NIT etc. in the amount that you have budgeted. Best wishes to you.
