Hello Srinivasa,
There is no fixed percentage to get admission at NITs as it varies every year. You may try in the counselling to get a seat at the colleges you wish for with your scores in JEE exam.

You can try for eastern nits or newer NIT. You can even try for GFTI Colleges or newer IIITs. Colleges are given on the basis of rank not on percentile. So, please mention rank instead of percentile.

Hi Gaurav,
With 72.42 percentile in JEE Mains, you can get a seat in NIT Patna at last round or spot round admission. Every year many seats are filled up through spot round at NIT Patna. As your home state is also Bihar, so you will get benefit in that round. Best of luck.

Hi Sajad,
Yes, you can definitely get admission in NIT with 98 percentile in your JEE Main paper 2, so you should definitely apply for the same and be wise during counseling process.
