Considering your rank ,you may not be able to get into the top NIT's but you have a fair chance for getting into GFTI's which are also reputed and good colleges .

Yes, you can. You should score more than 220 in JEE Mains paper-2, to get a seat in NIT.

JEE Mains paper 1 marks are not considered for admissions in B.Arch only your paper 2 marks are considered.

A student gets 3 chances for appearing in JEE Mains and of course in getting admission in one of the NIT from the passing year of 12th. So, by this logic, you are still eligible to get admission, but yes you have asked a very pertinent question. Here I would like to advise you that in the previous year almost 50% fresh engineering graduates were jobless. This does not mean that graduates from NIT were jobless. But this is an overall figure. There are plenty of institutions in India, which are famous for computer Science engineering. The best of course is IIT Mumbai followed by some different IIT's. I am attaching a link that will give you the rating of different Institutions including IIT NIT and private colleges for their branch of CSE. IIT is a better option.
Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs)
because IITs college have good placement, good infrastructure.
We got admission in NIT by crack JEE Mains exam
but in IIT we got admission by crack JEE Mains + JEE Advance.
