The cutoff ranges for B.Tech courses at Narula Institute of Technology, Kolkata, differed based on entrance exams. For the year 2024, the closing ranks for various courses through WBJEE in the General category were around 20,285 and 55,058; Computer Science Engineering was about 20,285 while Data Science was about 34,582. Comparatively, the JEE Main closing ranks were comparable. For lateral entry through JELET, closing ranks ranged from 3,084 for Computer Science Engineering to 7,123 for Electronics & Communication Engineering. These are considered competitive ranks.

With a JEE Mains rank of 101278, you can get admission to newer NITs like NIT Agartala, NIT Manipur, NIT Sikkim, or NIT Mizoram. However, you might get less popular branches like civil engineering or instrumentation. Your category (General, OBC, SC, ST) will also affect your chances. You can also look at state-level or private colleges with lower cut-offs.
