Getting NIT is different, but getting a good NIT with decent branch is different. I would recommend not to go in NIT below top 13 ranking. Moreover, with you, are left with getting into private colleges or universities or try any autonomous institute. Try our college predictor:

This is tough to say, as your marks are not well enough to get into top - 10 NIT's with core branch. Moreover, you can compare colleges on

It is less likely to get one with your low rankings. You are only left to go with either private universities and colleges or a drop. Yes, if you are from SC or ST, then you'll be getting CSE from best institute. Moreover, if general, then best you can get is MANIT, Bhopal as NIT. Also, try for IIIT's as some are doing better than NIT's.

Yes, you are perfectly eligible for getting into NIT's and other colleges which take JEE Mains as their entrance such as IIIT's, DTU etc.
