2014-115 marks
2013-113 marks
Anything above this you should qualify for counselling in govt. engineering colleges. As competition is fierce, you should secure high marks to qualify for the merit list of the top NITs.

For joining any NIT, you have to appear for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Mains after your class 12th. Admissions are given solely on the basis of your rank in JEE Mains.

Hello Vishal,
If you just happen to score more than cutoff off, it will not get you anywhere. Cut off is only to restrict number of students who can appear for JEE Advanced. For getting into NIT and good NIT, you need to score percentile of at least 75 in JEE Mains.

Not all NITs have aerospace engineering, but there is a GFTI named IIEST-Shibpur which has aerospace engineering. You need to qualify JEE Mains to get admission in IIEST, Shibpur.

Hello Nikita,
The average salary packages of NIT-Trichy for an engineering graduate ranges from 6-8 Lacs.
In Tamil Nadu, there are basically 2 NITs namely Trichy and Puducherry.
Since puducherry comes under union territory, I have said about NIT Trichy.

It depends upon cut-off. But according to this year, the cutoff were 81.
So, 160 is not enough for CSE in top NITs.
But, you can GFTIS and good state government colleges.
