For getting admission in NITs, you need to cross the 75% barrier in boards, otherwise you can't get admission.

Hey there,
Did you get a rank displayed as per the result for your paper 2?
The cut-off given was that for those who qualified to write JEE Advance. Rank will be given even if you qualify or not.
According to me, 220 in paper 2 is good and you will get admission in nits. Only that you can apply for architecture branch. For other branches they consider the paper 1 rank. If you apply for architecture the rank of paper 2 will be considered.
For more information, kindly google the previous year's opening and closing rank of various NITs.

In eastern NITs, you will get. But, they are not of good standards. It's better to prepare for one more year or otherwise try to go for local colleges. You won't get in top 25 NITs in any branch.
