It depends whether you are from home state quota or Other state quota. If you want ECE with home state quota then u have to score around 200 for gen, for obc 170. For other state quota he has to score more than 230+ for gen, more than 200+ for obc. So don't concentrate on these numbers, target for 200+ so that if something goes wrong you will land ECE. One more thing don't think about reservation. Just study hard. If you secure good rank it will boost your performance in B.Tech. Even though if you secure seat in ECE in reservation, you are expected to be work hard compared to PUC otherwise you will experience a tough time in branch. B.Tech 1st year is nothing but how strong you have a hold on PUC. Once if you secure good grade in 1st year, it will automatically carry your grade forcing you to maintain grade.
